Once again there has been a bloody conflict in Delhi’s Tihar Jail. A link is seriously injured in a fight between inmates. He has been admitted to DDU Hospital for treatment. According to police, information was received from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital of Hari Nagar Police Station on Wednesday afternoon that an injured person has been brought to the hospital from Tihar Jail. Based on this, the local police reached the hospital and took information about the matter. A brawl was revealed in Tihar Jail, in which a man named Hitesh alias Happy (said to be associated with the Gogi gang) was assaulted. The names of those who attacked Hitesh are said to be Gaurav Lohra and Gurinder.

Police say confirmation of the identity of the attackers is still a matter of investigation. Inmate Hitesh is injured and has been taken to DDU Hospital. A 2019 murder case has been registered against prisoner Hitesh alias Happy, who was injured in a fight at Bawana police station. He is in jail. As per confirmation so far, Gaurav and Gurinder are in jail for murder and attempt to murder. Giving the information, the police said that a case under section 307 of the IPC has been registered at the Hari Nagar police station and investigation is underway.

In Tihar Jail, incidents of fighting between prisoners are happening every day. In the month of April, two groups of prisoners came face to face in Jail No-3. The prisoners attacked each other with needles. Four prisoners were injured in the attack. Earlier, in Tihar Jail No. 1, an inmate attacked another inmate with a knife and a tile, injuring him severely. All these prisoners were admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for treatment.
