How true are the allegations against actress Digang?
Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman was going to make a comeback with the web series ‘Showstopper’. But due to financial constraints, the work of this series was stopped midway. Recently, the show’s producer and director Manish Harishankar in a conversation with a media portal said that work on the series has not stopped. Currently, the post production work on this series is going on. From actors to production-crew members, everyone is paid 90-95% of their fees. Meanwhile, he made a big revelation and also said that he has filed a cheating complaint against actress Digangana Suryavanshi.
According to media reports, the makers of ‘Showstopper’ have filed a complaint at the police station under sections 420 and 406 of the IPC against Digang’s Suryavanshi. Along with Digangana, MH Films has also served notices to her fashion designer Krishna Parmar and actor Rakesh Bedi. According to the complaint, Digangana had assured the producer that he and Akshay Kumar would act as presenters in the project. So in a legal notice, the makers have accused Rakesh Bedi and Krishna of defaming them by spreading false news about them.

According to the complaint filed by Manish Harishankar, Digangana had earlier signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the producers. In this deal, Akshay Kumar and Descendants of Digang was allowed to be the presenter of this series. While doing this deal, Digangana asked for 75 lakh rupees for himself and 6 crore rupees in the name of Akshay Kumar.

Director Manish Harishankar’s lawyer Falguni Brahmabhat says that Digangana wanted to extort a lot of money from him. The actress also threatened that Harishankar will face dire consequences if the money is not given to her. Falguni has reported the threat to the police and demanded proper action in the matter.
