Many such cases have also come to light when people even committed suicide due to all this. One such case has come to light from Noida in Uttar Pradesh. A married woman living here became so addicted to using Instagram that her husband stopped her. What happened next, the wife felt so bad about this that one day she committed suicide.
The case is of Sadarpur village in Sector-39 area. Here, when the husband refused to use Instagram, the wife committed suicide by hanging herself. Seeing his wife’s dead body, the husband fainted. He immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. No suicide note was found from the deceased. Police are also probing other reasons behind the suicide.
Police said Omveer of Street No-10, Sector-45 Sadarpur Colony was married to Vishakha nine years ago. Omveer, an Ola bike rider by profession, has taken a house on rent here. Omveer also has two children. On Monday morning, the police received information that Vishakha’s body was hanging with a fan in the room of the house. Police reached the spot, exhumed the body under the supervision of a forensic team and sent it for post-mortem.

During interrogation, Omveer said that Vishakha often used Instagram on her mobile. Not only this, she was also talking to many boys on Instagram. He had expressed his objection many times about this. Despite this, she did not agree to run Instagram. There were many fights between the two on this issue. When I woke up on Monday morning, I started using Instagram. He had gone to buy some things from the market and when he came back he found her body hanging.
The mother of the deceased has been informed. So far no one has filed a complaint in this matter. Police said that further action will be taken after receiving the complaint. It is currently being investigated whether there is any other reason behind the suicide.
