Supriya Srinath on Brijbhushan Singh: Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinet on Saturday launched a major attack on former Bharatiya Kusti Sangh president and former BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. He said that Brijbhushan Singh is shamelessly spewing venom against wrestler Vinesh Phogat. And they are saying that there is a conspiracy against them. Srinath said that several women wrestlers had accused Brijbhushan Singh of sexual harassment.
The spokesperson of the Congress has attacked Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the former president of the Indian Wrestling Association, through a video on his ax handle. He said that remember Brij Bhushan Singh is the charge sheeted accused. He is accused of sexually abusing female wrestlers. Supriya Sreeneth said that the reality is that the police have admitted in their 1500-page charge sheet that there is enough evidence against him.
‘BJP gave security to Brijbhushan Singh instead of players’
Supriya Sreeneth said that Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has been accused of many things in the charge sheet. Sections like 354, 354A, 354D, 506 have been imposed on them, which include sexual exploitation, stalking, intimidation and use of force. He said 6 more players have also made allegations, what do you say to that? What did Vinesh Phogat do wrong… Is it wrong to enter politics?
He said if entering politics is wrong then why BJP gave ticket to Babita Phogat? Why did Ravindra Jadeja join BJP recently? Sreeneth said that the reality is that the sportspersons of the country raised their voice against the injustice and exploitation being done to them. At the same time, instead of supporting the players, the BJP gave protection to Brijbhushan Singh.

Vinesh Phogat joined the Congress party on Friday. After joining the Congress, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh made a statement that today it has been proved true that the movement of women wrestlers against him was sponsored by the Congress. He said, ‘When women wrestlers leveled allegations against me, I said that this is a Congress conspiracy. The whole country is saying the same thing today.
