Body of girl found in locked room in UP, police started investigation

A dead body of a girl has been found in a locked room in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, according to a society supervisor who called the police after a stench was emanating from the room. The police team that has reached the spot has sent the dead body for postmortem and further investigation has been conducted in this matter.

The incident took place in Block No. 22 of PM Awas Yojana in Sharda Nagar, Bijnor and on June 3 at around 10 am, Block Supervisor Adarsh ​​Dwivedi passed near the room of the deceased. Adarsh ​​could smell it. When Adarsh ​​reached the room of the deceased to find out the reason, he found that the door was locked from inside.

The police took the body out of the fan

Adarsh ​​tried to open the door but it did not open, after which he called the police and reported the matter. The police reached the spot and broke the door of the room to find the cause of the stench. Meanwhile, the police team was stunned to see the idol inside the room. The police noticed that the dead body of the girl living in the room was found hanging with a fan, which the police removed and sent for postmortem and further investigation is underway.

What did the police say?

According to the police, the name of the deceased was Anika Sahu (age 22 years). She was living alone here for about 2 months and was working in a shop. According to Bijnor’s inspector, preliminary investigation revealed that the body was about ten days old. But the exact cause of death will be clear after the postmortem report.

A love affair was going on

Police say that during the interrogation of the local people, it has come to light that the girl was having a love affair with a young man. During the investigation, a mobile phone was also found in the girl’s room, which has been seized by the police. In this matter, the brother of the deceased, Vinayak, has sought to get the details of whom Anika last spoke to and take action. Currently, the police team is busy investigating the case.
