Delhi Weather Update: Monsoon will not depart, clouds will return; Yellow alert for 2 days due to rain in Delhi

Yellow rain alert in Delhi

While politics is hot in the country’s capital Delhi, the weather is quite rosy. Monsoon is entering its final phase in the country and meanwhile clouds are wreaking havoc in the capital. Talking about the weather conditions in the coming days, the national capital is expected to witness cloudy skies and light rain on Wednesday. Officials of Meteorological Department have given this information.

Meteorological department officials said that Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 24.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and it was sunny in the morning. During the day, it was mainly cloudy with light rain or drizzle. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in the capital for the next two days.

The IMD issued an alert

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in the capital Delhi is likely to be 34 degrees Celsius in the next two days. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the national capital’s Air Quality Index or AQI was recorded at 163 at 9 am today, which falls in the moderate range. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 satisfactory, 101 to 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor, and 401 to 500 severe.

Weather patterns will change

On the other hand, the eastern states of the country are receiving heavy rains as the monsoon is moving towards its end. While IMD has predicted light to moderate rains for Delhi. While Noida and surrounding areas adjacent to Delhi had bright sunshine during the day, by evening the sky was covered in dark clouds. Heavy rains brought about a change in the weather, however, this change in weather has led to jams and waterlogging at many places, causing inconvenience to commuters.
