Bihar Police arrested the accused youth
In Poornia, Bihar, a young man took his wife hostage at gunpoint. Meanwhile he also took out his pistol and fired. Seeing an opportunity, the girl escaped from the clutches of the accused and hid in another room. When the police reached the spot, the accused poured petrol on the house and started threatening to set it ablaze. However, the police arrested the youth. This girl is the niece and daughter-in-law of three-time Chief Minister of Bihar, Bhola Paswan Shastri.
The police said that the young man and the young woman had an inter-caste love marriage. Within a few days of marriage, quarrels started between husband and wife. Both were living separately for almost 4 years. During interrogation, the youth said that his family members were also upset with this marriage. His father said that he would not give him any share in his property. Due to his father’s displeasure, he left home and started living separately. According to the police, both got married at a young age. The girl now wants to study and lives separately.
The family was taken hostage
Sushila Bharti, daughter-in-law of the former chief minister, said that the young man suddenly reached home and took the entire family hostage. He pointed the pistol at his daughter. Meanwhile, he saw the opportunity and ran away. Meanwhile, he also fired. After this he informed the local police station. A few minutes later, the police reached his house. The young man had brought a gallon of petrol with him. He had sprayed petrol all around the house. The youth fired 6 rounds.

SDPO Pushkar Kumar said that the accused youth has been arrested. He had two pistols in his hand when the police arrived. Police also recovered 6 cartridges from him. Two cartridges were recovered from the spot. There is a quarrel between husband and wife. The young man seemed mentally disturbed. He is being interrogated.
