Yogi govt to bring ordinance in paper leak case, provision of life imprisonment, cost amount to be recovered from solver gang

In view of paper leak in RO-ARO exam and constable recruitment exam in UP, Yogi Adityanath government has decided to bring Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024. Under this ordinance, if found guilty in the paper leak, there will be life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 crore. The Yogi Cabinet approved this proposal on Tuesday. The proposal approved by the cabinet said that if the exams are affected due to paper leak or other reasons, the expenses incurred will be reimbursed by the solver gang. Also, the service providers and companies who commit malpractice in the exam will be permanently blacklisted.

A state cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. 44 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting. The meeting has given approval to extend the borders of the three major cities of the state, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Prayagraj.
