Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started working on a dream project after assuming power in the state. Now his dream project has begun to take shape on the ground. Work on this will begin in the next 6 months. This project will generate employment for more than 50,000 people in UP. At the same time, up to 7 lakh people will also get indirect employment opportunities.
Here we are talking about the film city that will be built in the Yamuna Expressway Authority area. To get investments for this project, the UP government has conducted several investment tours. Even Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went to Mumbai last year and met people from the film industry.
Work will begin in 6 months.
The Uttar Pradesh government says work on the Noida International Film City project is expected to begin in the next 6 months. Film producer Boney Kapoor and real estate developer Ashish Bhutani are working on this project. For this, the ‘Bayview Projects’ consortium has been created. On Thursday this week, Bayview Projects signed an agreement with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) for the development of Film City.
7.5 lakh people will benefit
In a statement issued by the state government on this development, it was said that the construction of the Film City will open employment opportunities for 50,000 people from the state and neighboring states. And indirectly, five to seven lakh people will get job opportunities. Within three years everything, from movie shooting to other jobs, will start taking place in this film city.
The government says the aim of this project is to meet the aspirations of the people of the state who want opportunities in the film industry. At the same time, film industry professionals must be offered an alternative to other film centers such as Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai, especially in northern India.
