Since the onset of monsoon on June 27, the state has seen a 20 per cent reduction in rainfall so far, with the state receiving 538.5 mm against an average of 674.2 mm.

Officials said that 158 ​​people have died so far in rain-related incidents during the monsoon season, which runs from June 27 to September 17, while 30 people are still missing. He said that the state has suffered a loss of Rs 1,305 crore due to rains.
