So that it can be included in the action plan against pollution before winter.

Gopal Rai wrote in his letter – Pollution in the capital city is continuously decreasing due to steps taken by the Delhi government every year. In other cities of the country the level of pollution is increasing continuously but the level of pollution in Delhi has decreased. Pollution here has reduced by 30 percent in the last 9 years.

Work together on air pollution in Delhi

Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai has written that the Delhi government is continuously working on long-term and short-term plans to reduce air pollution. The government has succeeded in reducing pollution by making summer action plan and winter action plan along with the concerned departments.

He wrote that according to the CSE report, the people of Delhi contribute only 31 percent of the pollution faced by the people of Delhi, the rest comes from neighboring states. He wrote that pollution is reduced by everyone’s cooperation, not by opposition. We all need to work together in this direction.

Congress party took a dig at Gopal Rai

Earlier, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced his message in this regard through a video on social media. Gopal Rai said that everyone knows that Delhi’s climate deteriorates in winter and pollution spreads. Delhi government has prepared for this. He said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s government has prepared a strong action plan against pollution.

Congress strongly criticized this promise of Gopal Rai. State Congress president Devendra Yadav struck. He said that Aam Aadmi Party announces this every year but since last one decade this scheme is not visible on the ground. Delhi’s AQI level remains above 100 in winter.
