On Friday, on a court order, the body of a Muslim woman was exhumed from a grave in Kharuan village of Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district, after a month in the presence of police, deputy tehsildar and a forensic team. After this, the body of the woman has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. The family has accused the woman’s husband of marrying for the third time. The woman’s family alleges that their daughter’s death was not normal. They allege that the woman died by drinking poison. The court has ordered an inquiry into the matter, after which the woman’s family hopes for justice.
Deputy Tehsildar Rajesh Kumar Yadav Rasara said that a case was registered by a mother after the death of her daughter in Kharwa village, in which she said that her daughter had been murdered. After the court order in this case, Birthday was exhumed and sent for post-mortem and further action will be taken based on the report.
The husband had a third marriage
The woman’s family alleged that the deceased’s husband had a third marriage, due to which there were frequent fights between the two. His daughter was not happy and suddenly one day news came that she had died. His daughter’s death was not natural so he went to the court and pleaded for justice. CO Mohammad Faheem Qureshi said that a complaint lodged with the city by the mother of Afsana, a resident of Revatipur village in Gazipur district, stated that her daughter was married to Khurshid Alam of Kharuv village on July 2, 2011. The CO said that a case has been registered against Khurshid Alam in the Nagra Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code in this regard.
