Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is quitting his film career to focus on his political career. Recently, KVN Productions announced the actor’s 69th film. H Vinod and KVN Productions are gearing up to release this untitled film in October 2025. Vijay wants to focus on his political career after completing the shooting of the film before the summer of 2025. This action film full of social drama is going to be an exciting addition to Vijay’s filmography.
Thalapathy 69 and Jailer 2 will collide!
On the other hand, Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Jailor 2’ directed by Nelson. The script of the film is finished and the team is waiting for Rajinikanth’s dates to start shooting. The makers are planning to release the film in October 2025. Work on ‘Jailor 2’ may begin after Dussehra. The filmmakers have confirmed that the project will be produced under the Sun Pictures banner.
In such a situation, if the last film of Vijay’s acting career ‘Thalapathi 69’ and ‘Jailor 2’ are released together, there can be a big clash between Tamil cinema at the box office. However, this will be the first time that two of the biggest stars of Tamil, Thalapathy Vijay and Rajinikanth, will come face-to-face.
