Youth killed in Hajipur

Police in Bihar’s Hajipur have recovered the body of a youth from a funeral pyre at Konhara Ghat. After killing the youth, the body was being prepared for cremation. At the same time, the police arrived and took the body into their custody and the body was sent to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. In this case, the police have taken a woman into custody and are interrogating her. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar of Chandpura. Ranjit is 25 years old. The condition of the family members is bad and they are crying after getting the information about the incident. Ranjit has many wounds on his body.

Ranjit’s father Rajendra Rai said that he lived with a woman in Yusufpur. Both lived together for one and a half years. On the day of the incident, Ranjit’s father Vishar went to Baba’s temple to offer milk and lava. Someone calls him and informs him about Ranjit. After information, when he came to Konhara Ghat, he saw that my son’s arms and legs were broken. He has been painfully murdered.

The police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. Police have arrested a woman and are interrogating her on the allegations of family members. The police are busy trying to find the motive behind Ranjit’s murder. The father of the deceased said that his son Ranjit Kumar used to earn his livelihood by driving Scorpio. He received a call that his son Ranjit Kumar had died in a road accident. When Ranjit’s family members reached Hajipur after receiving information about the incident, they found Ranjit’s body being prepared to be cremated on a pyre at Konhara Ghat.

The information about the incident was given to the police officer of the city police station. Police immediately took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Police have arrested a woman. The arrested woman has been identified as Anita Devi, a resident of Raghopur. He said the woman had killed my son and wanted to burn his body to destroy the evidence. Ranjit Kumar was the second of four brothers. First brother works in Mumbai. So, Ranjit’s two younger brothers live in the same village. As soon as the family members came to know about the incident, they reached Hajipur Sadar Hospital and started crying after seeing the dead body.
