Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer-Barmer Lok Sabha MP Umedaram Beniwal was on a visit to Jaisalmer. Meanwhile, he attended the Congress office located in the city. When Beniwal reached the Congress office for the first time after becoming an MP, he was given a grand welcome by the workers. In this tour, he made a big statement about Ravindra Singh Bhati. He said that there is no personal enmity between me and Ravindra Singh Bhati. At the same time, Bhati-Beniwal’s growing closeness could spell trouble for the BJP in the bypolls.
Meanwhile, Beniwal paid floral tributes to former MLA and Gandhi of Jaisalmer, Govardhan Das Kalla, on his death anniversary. Along with this, he addressed the Congress workers and gave a message to strengthen the Congress. Also, mantras were chanted for Congress to get Vijayashree in Panchayati Raj.
People are fed up with BJP government
Addressing the workers, he said that at present the people are upset with the BJP government at the center and in the state and in such a situation Congress will get majority in Panchayati Raj. For this every worker has to be strong. During this he also organized a public hearing program where people presented their problems before the MP.
Addressing the media, he said that Jaisalmer is a tourist city. In such a situation, their priority will be to promote tourism as well as other industries, development of canal area, long distance rail and flight connectivity with Jaisalmer and providing employment to local people.
Beniwal’s statement on Ravindra Singh Bhati
Meanwhile, he also made a statement about Ravindra Singh Bhati. He said that in politics there can be ideological differences, but not personal ones. There is no personal enmity between me and Ravindra Singh. The people sent whoever they wanted to Parliament. My priority is to keep our brotherhood intact. This is my wish.
Bhati-Beniwal shared the stage
It may be noted that MP Umedram Beniwal and Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati, who are independent candidates, are once again in discussion in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. These two leaders of Rajasthan came into discussion due to sharing the stage in the road show and program organized in Barmer. After the BMP party poster and these two were spotted together, there has been a stir in the political circles of Rajasthan.
On September 1, 2024, on Adivasi Adhikar Diwas, Shiv Assembly MLA Ravindra Bhati, RLP’s Umedram Beniwal of Congress and BAP’s Dungarpur-Banswada MP Rajkumar Rote held a road show in Ramsar, Barmer’s Shiv Assembly.
Beniwal-Bhati seen on a platform in Jodhpur
A few days ago, Beniwal and Ravindra Singh Bhati were seen on stage at a huge bhajan evening organized by Baba Ramdev Seva Sansthan at Ravana’s platform ground in Jodhpur. In such a situation, the debates in the political circles regarding the growing closeness between these two have gained momentum. Which has become a matter of great concern for the BJP.
Bhati raised BJP’s concern
In the near future, by-elections are to be held on 6 assembly seats in Rajasthan. By-elections are to be held in Rajasthan’s Jhunzhunu, Khinwsar, Uniyara, Dausa, Chaurasi and Salamber assembly constituencies. In such a situation, the growing closeness between Bhati and Beniwal has increased the BJP’s concern. Because let us tell you that even in the 2024 Jaisalmer-Barmer Lok Sabha seat, BJP had to face a crushing defeat due to independent candidate Ravindra Singh Bhati. BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Barmer, Kailash Chaudhary, stood third in this election. In such a situation, Bhati can once again become a challenge for the BJP.
By-elections will be held on these 6 seats
Dausa- Murari Lal Meena (Congress), Dewali Uniyara- Harishchand Meena (Congress), Jhunzhunu- Brijendra Singh Ola (Congress), Khinwsar- Hanuman Beniwal (RLP), Chaurasi- Rajkumar Rot (BAP) have become MPs. After the death of BJP MLA Amritlal Meena from Salamber due to a heart attack, by-elections to 6 assembly are going to be held.
