SGPC, which manages the gurdwara, has demanded immediate removal of some scenes from the film. Also asked the filmmakers to apologise. SGPC Secretary Pratap Singh has expressed concern about several scenes in the film. According to a report in The Hindu, he said, “The trailer of the film has shown many anti-Sikh scenes, which has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community.” According to the committee, the film tries to portray Sikhs as terrorists and separatists. This will not be accepted and is totally wrong.
