The first season of Kangana Ranaut’s reality show ‘Lock Up’ was aired on Ekta Kapoor’s OTT platform Alt Balaji. Munawar Farooqui became the winner of this show. After Kangana won the show, Munavwar entered Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss and also won the show’s trophy. But after the first season of Lock Up, the show took a break of almost 3 years and after a long hiatus, this controversial reality show is all set to make a comeback. But this year the format of the show will also see some changes.

Lockup will also be telecast on TV
According to sources, season 2 of ‘Lock Up’ could be streamed on both TV and OTT this year and hence the makers need a strong platform to release their product. It is also being said that the show might start on Zee TV, as Zee TV needs a strong reality show right now. Compared to Colors TV and Sony TV, Zee TV lags behind in terms of reality shows.
Salman Khan’s show will start soon
Salman’s Bigg Boss 18 Speaking of which, Dabangg Khan has been hosting the show for the past 15 years. Soon his show will replace Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatro Ke Khiladi’. That means the wait of the viewers will be over in October. Salman’s show will run for about 3 to 4 months and now the process of selecting the contestants to participate in the show has started.
