Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

It is very difficult to say when and what will happen in Maharashtra politics. No one knows when and in which direction the leaders of MahaAghadi and MahaYuti will turn. The statements of these leaders always arouse suspicion. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar group leader Amol Mitkari has advocated an alliance with Dalit leader Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) for the Maharashtra assembly elections.

He said that as a party worker, I feel that if Prakash Ambedkar joins hands with Ajit Pawar, the situation in Maharashtra will be different. This is my personal opinion. Along with this, he made a statement, which can once again create an earthquake in the politics of Maharashtra. Mitkari said Mahayutti leaders should not underestimate the stature of NCP leaders.

Mitkari’s statement comes at a time when there have been rumblings of difference between RSS and Shiv Sena over Ajit Pawar’s inclusion in the Mahayuti alliance. Mahayuti alliance includes Ajit Pawar’s NCP, BJP, Eknath’s Shiv Sena. Rekha Thakur, Maharashtra unit head of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), has given her reaction to Mitkari’s statement.

He said his party cannot consider joining hands with the NCP as long as they are part of the BJP-led alliance. Before the Lok Sabha elections, alliance talks between the VBA and the Maha Aghadi (Congress, NCPSP, SHUBT) failed.
