Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
The Supreme Court will give its verdict on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea tomorrow i.e. Friday. In the last hearing (September 5), a bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan reserved its decision after hearing arguments from all the parties. Delhi CM gets bail in ED case, while the case is related to CBI arrest and regular bail.
Actually Kejriwal has filed two petitions. In one petition he has challenged the denial of bail and in the other he has challenged his arrest by the CBI. Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court on July 12 in the ED case. The CBI arrested Arvind Kejriwal from Tihar Jail on June 26 after he was granted interim bail in the ED case.
