Prabhas fans are very excited about the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Along with South’s ‘darling’ Prabhas, the film will feature many famous actors like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Recently, after seeing ‘Baahubali’ Bhallaldev aka actor Rana Daggubati at the film’s grand pre-release event held in Mumbai, many speculated that Rana will make a cameo appearance in the film. Once again, craving to see Prabhas and Rana together, fans hoped that Rana would share the good news with them. But Rana, who hosted the pre-release event of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, clarified that he is not a part of the film.
When Rana Daggubati was asked if he is also going to act in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’? The ‘Baahubali’ actor then said, “All the actors were selected before the casting of this film. And that’s why I couldn’t participate in this film. After hearing his answer, the host asked him again if he is going to produce this film? In response to this question, Rana said, “This film is a very expensive film. That’s why I’m not producing this film.” After Rana’s funny answer, he was asked if he had directed some scenes in the film.

In response to a question on direction, Rana said, “I’m not the director of this film, but I definitely went to school with the director of this film. And I went to school to learn fighting with Prabhas, the lead actor of this film. For 6 years we have learned to fight. So this is my connection with the film. And if someone from my state is making such a great film, I will always be with them. Prabhas’ filmKalki 2898 ‘AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin. And the film is going to release in theaters on June 27.
