After marriage, husband’s extra-marital affair with another woman and wife’s extra-marital affair with another man has become a common thing nowadays. We see many such cases of extramarital affairs every day. But in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, a man tried to kill his own wife for the sake of his girlfriend. First he beat his wife a lot. He was then given phenyl to drink. When the innocent daughters came to save the mother, the accused also beat the daughters.
According to the information, Santosh Yadav, a resident of Talkatora, got married a few years ago. After the marriage everything went well for a few years, but a year ago Santosh became friends with a woman. Santhosh deals in buying and selling of vehicles. Santosh and that woman started talking frequently.
When Santosh’s wife came to know about this, she protested, due to which Santosh beat her. The wife complained to the police several times, but Santosh was not satisfied. Saying it was a family feud, Santosh along with his wife apologized to the police and promised not to do it again.

But it did not improve. He also used to go to the hotel with his girlfriend. This time when Santosh’s wife objected to her husband’s illicit relationship with the woman, Santosh became enraged and brutally beat his wife, rendering her unconscious. Along with this, Santosh also drank phenyl with the intention of killing his wife.
Arrest of accused
Meanwhile Santosh’s 12-year-old daughter reported the incident to her grandmother, after which her parents reached the spot and found the daughter lying on the ground in critical condition. They immediately took him to the hospital. Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim’s mother. Police say that the accused has been arrested while investigating the case. Even before this, action has been taken against the accused for disturbing the peace due to family dispute.
