Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje

Politics has heated up in the BJP camp in Rajasthan. A statement by former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has created a stir that refuses to subside. In fact, Vasundhara Raje made a statement on Tuesday in which she said, “If one gets a brass clove, one starts thinking of oneself as bullion.” Such statements by Raje are not new. Such statements started after Raje was not made the chief minister after the assembly elections in Rajasthan. Now let us try to understand Vasundhara Raje’s statements and their meanings sequentially and what is the real reason behind Vasundhara Raje’s statement?

Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in Rajasthan, the day Rajasthan’s politics were turned upside down by a blunder. This was the day when the BJP returned to power in Rajasthan and Bhajanlal Sharma was made the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Union Minister Rajnath Singh was sent from Delhi as an observer to Jaipur, who gave Bhajanlal Sharma’s name slip to Vasundhara Raje, but before this Vasundhara Raje and Rajnath Singh met in a hotel. However, Vasundhara Raje was shocked to read the name of Bhajanlal Sharma written on the slip because Bhajanlal Sharma’s name was written on the slip as Chief Minister.

After this entire incident, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s displeasure was seen on several occasions. After this, Vasundhara Raje did not attend all the party events and started keeping a distance, but everywhere Raje went, Raje’s statements from the platform were met with displeasure.

Vasundhara Raje’s alienation and disaffection from the party were also seen in the Rajasthan Lok Sabha elections. Raj was limited to campaigning for his son Dushyant Singh in the Jhalawad seat and did not campaign in any other Lok Sabha seats, and in the Lok Sabha election results in Rajasthan, the BJP lost 11 out of 25 seats.

Vasundhara Raje’s three major attacks

Vasundhara Raje said at BJP’s new state president program on August 3, 2024, “Politics is another name for ups and downs, everyone has to go through these phases. Everyone needs to pay attention to 3 things – position, height and object. Rank and status are not permanent, but status is permanent which is created by your work and people remember you only by your work. If one takes pride in his position, his stature automatically diminishes.”

On 16 August, Raje said at a Jain community event in Udaipur, “Breaking someone’s heart is also violence, now instead of live and let live, live and don’t live, reap what you sow.” The former CM said that the principle of Jainism is live and let live, but many have done the opposite. Live and do not let others live, means live yourself, but do not let others live, those who do this may be happy for a while, but they cannot be happy forever because you reap what you sow.

Vasundhara Raje on 3 September 2024

Vasundhara Raje said on September 3, “Many people consider themselves gold. If they get a brass clove, you want to touch the sky, but always keep your feet on the ground.” Raje said this while looking at the stage and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was also sitting on the stage.

Now the question is, what are these continuous statements of Vasundhara Raje pointing towards? Is Raje’s resentment towards the BJP high command still continuing or is Raje now pointing at Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. However, the BJP camp is calling this a joke among the big leaders after a long time, on the other hand, the Congress has attacked the Rajasthan government and said that Vasundhara Raje has targeted Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma because of the state of Rajasthan. It is clear how the government is working.
