Brutality against a junior doctor in Kolkata.
About 12 years ago, Nirbhaya became a victim of brutality in the national capital, Delhi. It was December in the year 2012. The 16th was a cold night. Nirbhaya was traveling in a bus with her friend. She was gang-raped in this moving bus. Six people molested him. After that, they threw him on the road and ran away. Nirbhaya died on December 29, 13 days after the incident that shook the country. This was the fictitious name he unfortunately got. The law has changed and a decade has passed but humanity still stands the same. A beast living among humans has now tortured a trainee doctor at a government hospital in West Bengal. FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Associations) calls it Nirbhaya-2.
RG Kar Medical College and Hospital is a famous hospital in Kolkata. The body of a trainee doctor was found in the seminar hall here on August 9. There were no full clothes on the body. There were injury marks on several parts of the body. Blood was coming out of the eyes and mouth. The post mortem report revealed the brutality meted out to him.
The incident took place between 3 am and 6 am!
Within hours of the incident, the Kolkata Police formed an SIT. Sanjay Roy, who was often seen at the hospital, was arrested in the preliminary investigation itself. Based on investigations and inquiries so far, it is believed that the victim was assaulted shortly before her body was found. Meaning, this incident of cruelty happened to him between 3 and 6 in the morning.
Blood was oozing from the eyes and mouth
A postmortem examination revealed severe injuries on several parts of the victim’s body. Her strangulation and bleeding from her eyes and mouth came to light, which was also proved in the report. Apart from this, the report also revealed that she was killed before being raped.
Sanjay went to her house after the murder and rape. He fell asleep on reaching home. Wash your clothes to remove evidence. During the investigation, the police found blood stains on his shoes. Apart from this, the police also found a broken piece of earphone from the spot. Along with this, a sensational revelation has been made from his mobile phone found by the police.
The accused is addicted to watching obscene videos and drinking alcohol
The police have found that the accused is addicted to alcohol. He is also addicted to watching porn videos. This video is very unusual. Which tells about his perverted mentality. He has been married four times. Three of his wives left him. A wife died.
After this heartbreaking incident, there is anger across the country with those associated with the medical profession. Protests are taking place. Along with the punishment of the accused, questions are also being raised about the safety of the health workers. The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) has announced the closure of alternative health services across the country.
Then the investigation will be handed over to the CBI
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has now come into action in response to the growing anger of doctors and the people of the country. He has said that the accused should be given death penalty. He further said that if the state police fails to solve the case quickly, the government will consider handing over the case to the CBI.
A police investigation is currently underway, which is looking into the possibility of other people’s involvement in the incident. The victim’s family is constantly raising questions that other people may be involved in the case.
Rapists do not deserve to live in society
TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee has said that he will introduce a bill in Parliament for speedy trial and punishment of the accused within a week. He said that rapists do not deserve to live in society. They should either be killed in an encounter or hanged.
