Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was released from jail on Friday after spending 156 days in jail in an alleged liquor scam case. When CM Kejriwal came out of jail on Friday evening, Kejriwal was given a loud welcome outside Tihar Jail with drumbeats and fireworks.
After Kejriwal’s release from jail, many questions have been raised regarding the use of crackers and crackers. The opposition says that when firecrackers are banned in Delhi, then why there was a huge firework display on Kejriwal’s release.
AAP reacted to the fireworks

BJP hits out at AAP over firecrackers
Targeting AAP, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal tweeted that despite the ban on firecrackers in Delhi, fireworks are being burst outside Arvind Kejriwal’s house, which is a direct violation of the law made by him. The question arises that when one’s own rules cannot be followed, then with what hope these rules are imposed on the general public? Why these double standards?

Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapur said, I don’t know what is being celebrated in Delhi since this morning (September 13), an accused is being released from jail on bail, a Chief Minister is not being released. If a CM was dismissed, he used to go to the office and sign the government files. Targeting you further, he said, “But the festival is being celebrated, to celebrate this festival, the Aam Aadmi Party has come up with special kind of firecrackers, which may release oxygen and nitrogen into the atmosphere.”
3 days ago we were told that firecrackers are causing pollution in Delhi, I ask Gopal Rai who told us that firecrackers will not do anything now, will they burn at CM’s gate? He said, “I challenge Gopal Rai that if he has courage and honesty, he should remove the ban on bursting crackers on Diwali and also remove the ban on bursting firecrackers on Ramlila.” He also said that action should be taken against firecrackers.
