Meanwhile, the erosion of Saryu river in Barabanki is increasing continuously. Due to which the river has embraced Baburi village. The entire village is submerged in water. After seeing the scene here, no one would say that this place once had a village.
After Baburi now Saryu seems desperate to destroy Kedaripur village also. Due to which the people of the village are feeling fear. To avoid erosion, victims are demolishing their houses and protecting them with bricks, rebar, doors and windows etc. The water level is expected to rise due to rain on the mountain. Along with this, the rains in the flood-prone areas have also added to the hardships of the people. Three taluks of Barabanki continue to experience floods, with Ramnagar tehsil being the worst affected.
Saryu is creating havoc by cutting the river
The Saryu river passing through the coastal village of Hetmapur in the flood-affected area of ​​Suratganj block under Ramnagar tehsil area is wreaking havoc. The river has destroyed arable land. Dozens of families have become homeless in a week. People took shelter in schools for two days, but the river also surrounded the joint school, Baburi. After which the flood victims were forced to seek shelter in other schools, roads and temporary camps. The rest are also migrating.

Also, the flood victims say that the river water can engulf their houses anytime. In such a situation, those people are moving to safer places with essential items from their homes.
