A case of rape of a minor girl preparing for NEET has come to light in the industrial city of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The incident was done by the girl’s ex-boyfriend. Now, based on the girl’s complaint, the police have registered a case and started investigation. The accused works in an online food delivery company. The victim alleged that he called her to his room on the pretext of saying sorry and sexually assaulted her. When she protested, the accused even beat her.
The victim, who lives in Rawatpur police station area of ​​Kanpur, said that she was preparing for the NEET exam. Some time ago he ordered food online. The two became friends when the delivery boy came with the food. After this both shared their number with each other and started talking to each other. The victim says that during this conversation the accused started pretending to love her. When she refused, an altercation ensued with the accused and the two broke up.
Called to say sorry.
According to the victim, after this the accused called her again on September 6 and called her to his room on the pretext of saying sorry. When she reached the accused’s room, he forcibly raped her. According to the victim, when she protested, the accused even beat her. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the accused. The accused has been identified as Shobhit Kumar, a native of Sandi Baghrai village in Hardoi. He used to live here in Vinayakapur with a rented house.
