5,000 jobs will be created
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a new manufacturing unit of leading vehicle manufacturing company Tata Motors. 9,000 million rupees will be invested in this plant. The inauguration ceremony of this project was held at Panpakkam in this district, about 115 kilometers from Chennai. This plant is expected to create 5,000 new jobs. Besides the Chief Minister, DMK chief ministers Durai Murugan, TRB Raja, Chief Secretary N Muruganandam and Tata Sons Ltd Chairman N Chandrasekaran participated in the bhumi pujan ceremony. On this occasion, Stalin expressed his happiness over Tata Motors’ plan to set up a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu.
