When will the road to Vaishnodevi open, it was closed after the landslide

The new Himkoti road leading to the court of Mata Vaishno Devi remained closed for the third day. A landslide occurred on this road near the Panchi helipad on Sunday. The road was closed due to falling debris and damage to the tin shed. Two women devotees died due to the landslide. Repair of damaged tin shed and road is in progress. Now the old road is open for the devotees to go to the temple.

Repairs are being delayed due to rain. Work is going on in the presence of Shrine Board officials to repair the Himkoti road leading to Mata Vaishnodevi. Board officials are keeping a close eye on the work. He has reached the spot and is supervising the repair work. It is hoped that soon the journey will be started on this route as well.

Landslide occurred on Himkoti Road

There is an old road leading to the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi. The new Himkoti Marg has also been opened for devotees. A landslide occurred on this road near the Panchi helipad on Sunday. Two women devotees were killed when large stones fell from the hill. One of these women was from UP and the other from Punjab. A girl was also injured. A tin shed on the road was damaged by falling stones. The road was closed after the landslide. The road is being repaired by Srimata Shrine Board.

Navratri will be crowded

A huge crowd of devotees have thronged the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi. 40 to 50 thousand devotees visit Mata Vaishno Devi temple every day. In winter their number decreases to 10 to 15 thousand. This number is much higher during Navratri. This time Navratri festival is in the month of October. In such a situation, there will once again be a huge crowd of devotees in the court of Mother. Important works are being done by the Shrine Board keeping in mind their convenience.
