Childline officials handed over the child to his family.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Gazipur, a child was so enraged by his mother’s beating that he left home. Panic spread among the family as the child did not return home for a long time. Frightened family members started searching for him. Here the child angrily reached the railway station 45 km from home and started crying. Under Operation Nanhe Ferishte, when RPF personnel saw the child crying at the station, they interrogated him. The jawans reported this to the RPF inspector.
On Thursday, a child was seen crying sitting on a bench at platform number one of Gazipur City railway station. In the context of Operation Nanhe Ferishte, the RPF team was tasked with searching all the coaches of trains passing through the station after stopping at the platform. During this time Sub Inspector Kamlesh and his team noticed the child. He asked the child why he was crying, to which the RPF team was shocked.
When mother beat me, she ran away from home
When the RPF inspector questioned the child, it was learned that he had come to the railway station upset over his mother’s beating him for not studying. But he did not feel like studying, on which his mother first punished him and then beat him. He stormed out of the house. The child had walked about 45 kilometers from home to reach Ghazipur railway station.
Hand over the child line to the family
During interrogation by RPF, the child revealed his name as Akash Kumar, son of Rajkumar, village Dharampurwa, police station Mardah, district Ghazipur. After this, the RPF gave this information to the child line officials. After that Gaurav Kumar Verma and Ambarish Yadav of Child Line reached Gazipur City Railway Station. These people took the children into their custody and contacted their family members. After this the family members reached there and took the children to their home.
