A shocking incident has come to light in Ghaziabad’s Sahibabad area, where police have arrested a 60-year-old woman and her 20-year-old grandson for allegedly murdering her. You will also be shocked to know the reason for the murder. The accused got so addicted to online Ludo and 3-card games that he took his grandmother’s life.

Killed and stole earrings

The incident came to light when uncle Ashok Kumar filed a complaint at the police station on June 28. According to the report, an unidentified man attacked and killed his mother and looted her ear rings, nose ring and some money kept in the temple. The police took immediate action and started investigating the incident and arrested the accused grandson Vinod with the help of CCTV footage and informers. During interrogation, Vinod said that he had lost a lot of money due to his addiction to online games and was in financial crisis. On not getting the money, he got angry and killed his maternal uncle Harpyari.

Grandmother refused to give money

Vinod admitted that he had asked his grandmother for money on the day of the incident, but she refused. In anger, he attacked and killed the grandmother. Later her earrings and kept with the temple Rs. 2000 and ran away. Police arrested Vinod near Hindon Bridge, Ghaziabad-Sahibabad Main Road and recovered the earring of the deceased from him.
