Manoj Bajpayee chased Anurag Kashyap with a stone
There are many stories of amazing friendships in Bollywood, many of which are heard about Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap. Whenever these two sit together, something funny happens. One such incident is when Manoj Bajpayee chased Anurag Kashyap with a stone.
Anurag and Manoj previously worked together in ‘Satya’, the story of which was written by Anurag Kashyap. After this both worked in ‘Kaun’ and ‘Shool’. Recently, this pair’s superhit film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ was re-released. On the completion of ten years of this film, Anurag and Manoj reached ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Director Anubhav Sinha also appeared on the same show a while ago, who shared an incident between Anurag and Manoj Bajpayee. When Kapil asked Anurag about it on the show, he shared his and Manoj Bajpayee’s story. He said that once Manoj chased him with a stone. This happened because Manoj Bypayi felt that he had been insulted.
Anurag Kashyap narrated the entire story
Narrating the whole story, Anurag said that it happened near legendary lyricist filmmaker Gulzar’s house, where Hansal Mehta was directing a cooking show. During the shooting of the cooking show, Hansal used to call Anurag and Manoj Bajpayee for food samples. Anurag said, “We were hungry anyway, so we went for a taste. Meanwhile, Manoj became emotional and an incident happened. Manoj Bajpayee felt that he had insulted Gulzar in front of him. After which Manoj Bajpayee picked up the stone and started running after Anurag Kashyap. Anurag was running ahead and Manoj was running behind him, Hansal Mehta was running behind to stop both. Going further, both of them sat on the side of the road and hugged each other and started crying.

Neither of them spoke for 11 years
Although the two are very good friends, there have been many fights between them. There was such a fight between them that after this both of them did not even speak to each other for 11 years. Talking about this, Manoj Bajpayee said, “Anurag is deaf, sometimes he walks on this street, sometimes on that street. If someone tells him that Manoj said so, he will accept it. Once someone incited him against me. He thought I was not his friend. After this he stopped talking to me. This fight between them ended during the preparation of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
