Ali Fazal was rejected from the film

Ali Fazal is back as Guddu Bhaiya. ‘Mirzapur 3’ has been released on Prime Video. Many memes related to this series are also going viral on social media. The entire star cast of the series is busy with promotions these days. Meanwhile, Ali spoke about a film for which he auditioned. But he was rejected. Ali said that he did not understand at that time and auditioned for the film.

Talking about the rejection in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ali said, “It will be very strange if I say here. But I auditioned for Milkha Singh. I didn’t understand. I just thought I will get the film, I have trained, accent and everything is fine. Ali said that later he felt that this was a very big budget film and he was not in that direction yet.

Akshay Kumar was the first choice for this film

‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was released in the year 2013. The film was a biopic of Indian athlete Milkha Singh, known as the Flying Sikh. His character was played by Farhan Akhtar in this picture. However, she was also not the first choice for the role. Director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra initially wanted to cast Akshay Kumar in the film. However, Akshay rejected the film. In an interview, Akshay also told the reason behind rejecting the film.

Akshay said, “Actually I regret not doing the film, which is ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. I was offered that film, but I was busy with ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara’. After Akshay’s rejection, the producers offered the film to Farhan Akhtar. He liked the script and said yes. Stars like Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Prakash Raj were also a part of that film.
