Last year, Sushmita revealed this in an interview to ‘Humans of Bombay’ and said, “Farah Khan called me and said Sush, I have seen the final edit of this and I have to apologize to you for this. Shah Rukh Khan, Zayed and Amrita’s roles are very important, but you are hardly in the film. Maybe your role would have been more important in this film.”
The actress continued, “I told Farah, no problem Farah, we had a deal for this role and you kept your promise and I kept mine. Now what was meant to be is done, you don’t worry about it, but inside I was also thinking yes man, my role is too small.
Yash Chopra praised Sushmita Sen
Sushmita said, “I got a call from Yash ji (Yash Chopra) when ‘Main Hoon Na’ was screened at Film City. I started to wonder why he was calling me. After this I got scared and picked up the phone. What has he done to me after this, child, what has he done to me. I couldn’t take my eyes off you. I hope you are in every frame of the film.
