When Deepika slapped a person on the way
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is currently in the news regarding her pregnancy. Deepika is going to be a mother in a few days, which she is very excited about. Recently, Deepika shared pictures from her maternity shoot flaunting her baby bump on Instagram. She has shown her acting prowess in films like Om Shanti Om, Pathan, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Kalki. Deepika often raises her voice for women. The actress once said that she slapped a guy for doing something wrong.
In an interview to India Today, the actress shared a case. She says she slapped a man in the middle of the road for misbehaving. Deepika said, “I was 14 or 15 years old. I remember one evening my family and I were walking on the road. We probably had dinner at a restaurant. My sister and my father were walking in front and my mother and I were walking behind and one person came towards me quickly and started moving forward hitting me hard. For a while I didn’t understand what happened but then I got very angry with that person. I could have ignored it at the time, but I didn’t.”
He slapped me with the collar
He continued, “At that moment I decided to teach that person a lesson that what he did to me today can happen to someone else tomorrow. So I followed the man, walked up to him, grabbed his collar, slapped him in front of everyone on the way and walked away. I was only 14 at that time and from that day my parents were proud of me that their daughter could take care of herself.
Was trolled for the shameless color track
Deepika was trolled a lot for wearing an orange bikini in the shameless color track of the film ‘Pathan’, but still Deepika has stood strong against such controversies. After her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor, the actress fell into depression. After struggling with this, he made a strong comeback.
Threats were received for Padmaavat
She was getting constant threats for ‘Padmaavat’ but Deepika was not afraid of these threats. In the interview, he also jokingly said that instead of cutting off my nose, people should cut off my legs. In fact Karni Sena threatened Deepika that they will cut off Deepika’s nose if ‘Padmaavat’ is released.

Talking about the work front, Deepika was seen in her latest blockbuster Kalki 2898 ED in a strong performance alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. He will now be seen in ‘Singham Again’, which is slated to release on Diwali this year.
