This will be the first assembly election in Maharashtra after the split between the two major regional parties Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party. Times Now Navbharat’s opinion poll has come out in the backdrop of the upcoming assembly elections. According to opinion polls, there will be a fierce fight between Mahayuti and Maviat in the upcoming assembly elections. Mahayuti is likely to get 137 to 152 seats. While Mahavikas Aghadi hopes to get 129 to 144 seats. According to this opinion poll, BJP is going to become the number one party in the state, though its seats are decreasing compared to last election.
Who can get how many seats?
According to opinion polls, BJP can get a maximum of 83 to 93 seats in the state. Shiv Sena’s Shinde faction may get 42 to 52 seats. Similarly, the NCP Ajit Pawar faction may have to settle for 7 to 12 seats. On the other hand, Congress is likely to get maximum 58 to 68 seats in Mahavikas Aghadi. After this NCP Sharad Pawar group is likely to get 35 to 45 seats while Shiv Sena Thackeray group is likely to get 26 to 31 seats. Other parties are expected to get 3 to 8 seats.

In the poll, 37 percent people of the state like Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s face. After this, the faces of former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis are liked by 21 percent each. Sharad Pawar got 10 percent and others 11 percent.
