There is a whole network for the sale of drugs sent across the border, which consumes them in small areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. According to defense expert Sanjay Soi, around 8-10% of the population of Jammu and Kashmir have become drug addicts, the government should conduct an awareness campaign for the local people to prevent them from falling into its grip.

He said that the entire drug business is now linked to narco-terror and the money earned from it has become the most serious threat to the country and its security.
