Bangladesh is burning with violence against reservation. 133 people have lost their lives in the violence. Meanwhile, A large number of Indians and students are stranded in Bangladesh. More than 4,500 Indian students have returned home due to violent clashes in neighboring Bangladesh, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Sunday. Along with Indian students, 500 from Nepal, 38 from Bhutan and one from Maldives have also returned to India.
A statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said. The Indian Mission in Bangladesh is in regular contact with the local authorities for the security of Indian nationals. Not only Indians, many students from neighboring countries Nepal and Bhutan also go to Bangladesh for higher education. As soon as the unrest started in Bangladesh, they were returning home in fear. Unable to return home, students from Nepal and Bhutan have sought refuge in India, according to the Ministry of External Affairs, 4500 students have returned to India so far from Bangladesh. Students from Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives have also taken shelter across the border to India to save their lives.
