Govind Namdev’s statement on Shahrukh-Salman
Veteran actor Govind Namdev has acted in many films. He has been associated with Hindi cinema for the last several decades. Recently, Govind Namdev has been constantly in the news due to some of his statements. He has shared some things related to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan with everyone. The senior actor said that both are superstars, but completely different from each other. Govind has worked with Shah Rukh in ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’.
Govind Namdev has shared the screen with Salman Khan in ‘Wanted’. The veteran actor opened up about the working style of both the superstars. He said that the way Shah Rukh Khan works is worth watching. He works late into the night and also talks to the film crew. ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ was released in the year 2000. Along with acting in this film, Shahrukh also produced it. Hence he used to do his work with full responsibility.
Sharing his experience, Govind Namdev said that he has heard of workaholics, who are obsessed only with work. But he saw it for the first time while working with Shahrukh. They worked together all day, when night fell, Shah Rukh started talking to the entire team and even had dinner with them. He was a film producer and worked even at 2 am. The next morning he caught a flight to Chennai to attend a function and then came back and started shooting.

According to the actor, Shah Rukh Khan used to sleep for three and a half to four hours at most. Do not sleep more than this. Superstars usually have attitude, they have tantrums and they don’t. About Salman, Govind said that he is completely different from Shah Rukh. Salman does not speak much. However, sometimes he would tell stories about his family, what his father was like and how he would be punished if he did something wrong.
