After which there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire airport and the airport was put on high alert and emergency was declared, along with this an FIR was registered based on the complaint and an investigation was started.
A 13-year-old boy sent mail for fun
Commissioner of Police (IGI Airport) Usha Rangnani said that all guidelines, protocols and SOPs were followed to ensure the safety of passengers. However, later on checking at the airport, it was found that the mail received by the airport was fake. After which mail investigation was started which revealed that the email was sent from Pithoragarh in Uttaranchal and this email id was deleted only after sending the mail. Rangnani said that on receiving this information, an investigation team was immediately sent to Pithoragarh, where it was found that the mail was sent by a 13-year-old boy.

When the boy was interrogated, he said that a similar incident had happened some time ago, which is why he had done it for fun, but after sending the mail, he was too scared, so he did not tell his parents. Mention it. He said that he was given a mobile phone for study, with the help of which he created an ID and sent mails. After interrogation, the police handed over the boy to his parents.
