Farooq Abdullah, Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Saturday, where he hit out at everything from terrorism to opposition parties Congress, NC and PDP. After Amit Shah’s statement, National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah hit back at Shah’s statement on Sunday. Farooq Abdullah said that we are not infiltrators and snatchers of Mangalsutra.
NC chief Farooq Abdullah said, they (BJP) are afraid of National Conference, that’s why they will try in every way, defame NC in every way, but NC will win. When Farooq Abdullah was asked a question, Amit Shah said that whatever alliance has been formed between Congress and NC, it is for a limited time.
To which Farooq Abdullah said, “They say a lot, but I want to tell them that we are against the India they want to build.” India belongs to everyone, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, everyone who lives here belongs here.
“We are not intruders.”
Farooq Abdullah said, we are not infiltrators, we are not going to take Mangalsutra. Targeting the BJP, he said that those who are pointing fingers at Muslims should understand that Muslims have also worked for the freedom of this country, laid down their lives, Muslims are equal partners.
He said, they are only trying to scare Hindus, they only think that Hindus will vote for them, he said, first they tried to sell Ram, now they are trying to scare.
Attacking the BJP, he said, “They say that if Congress and NC come here, there will be terrorism here again. I ask them that they took away 370, did terrorism stop, today terrorism has started again and we ourselves are responsible for that.” We are responsible. And then we are told that we are responsible. He said that a day will come when we will get statehood back.
Amit Shah attacked NC
Targeting the NC, Amit Shah said, “Don’t let the Abdullah family win, you have to take the bowls to Srinagar.” He also said that the people of NC, Congress, PDP are saying that we will bring the same system as before, do you agree with this? Talk of autonomy set fire to Jammu and Kashmir, killing 40,000 people in the valley. They say, we will give autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir, I am saying today that no power can talk about autonomy.
