Farooq Abdullah’s reply to Khawaja Asif
The first phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir has been completed. Political parties are now busy with the second phase of campaigning. Speaking to reporters during the election campaign in Udhampur, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the Prime Minister only makes statements and does not fulfill any promises. What happened to the Prime Minister’s promise of 50,000 jobs, he asked? What happened to the Prime Minister’s promise to give 15 lakhs? She also thought it was a joke. Prime Minister wants only power and nothing else.
On Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement, Farooq Abdullah said that we are not worried about what Pakistan is saying. We are not citizens of Pakistan. We are citizens of India. In fact, Khawaja has said that the National Conference and the Congress are talking about upholding Article 370 and 35A in the Jammu and Kashmir elections. This is what we are talking about. This is also the demand of Pakistan government. With this statement of Khawaja Asif, BJP is questioning the alliance of Congress and National Conference and saying that they and Pakistan have the same agenda.

With this, Omar Abdullah also said that what do we have to do with Pakistan. They should look to their country. We are worried about our country. They must save their democracy. We have nothing to do with them.
On the question of getting state status back to Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah said that Jammu and Kashmir will get full state status with the entire opposition alliance. He said that we will retain the status of a full state. He also said that BJP has also promised that it will restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir.

One Nation, One Election is against federal structure
On the issue of One Nation, One Election, Abdullah said that the entire opposition in Delhi is against it. The country has a federal structure If One Nation One Election is implemented, there will be no federal structure left in the country. Still BJP wants to implement it in the country. Abdullah said that the BJP does not understand that there is diversity in the unity of the country. If diversity is not strengthened, how will unity come in the country? If this is ignored, the country will be weak. He said that Delhi will become strong only if princely states have to be strengthened in the country. If you focus on strengthening Delhi, the country will not become stronger. When the reporter asked him if Article 370 is an issue in this election and whether it will be implemented again, Abdullah said that it will definitely be implemented, but it will take some time. A legal battle will have to be fought for this.
