Three killed in Delhi coach accident

This rain became a disaster for the students studying in the coaching center. The basement of the coaching building, where some female students were studying, was flooded. Three female students have died due to drowning.
The name of this coaching center is Rao IAS Study Centre. In this center the students are prepared for the civil service examination. Students used to come here for studies even on Saturdays. Everything was going well till three o’clock. But suddenly heavy rain started in this area. Delhi Police Deputy Commissioner M. Harsh Vardhan said that a person called us at seven in the evening and informed. He said that the basement of the coaching institute was flooded, where some students were trapped.
The library was in the basement.
The official said that as soon as the information was received, a team of Delhi Fire Department (DFS) was also sent along with the rescue team. When the team reached there, the basement was flooded. When the officer was asked what the students were doing in the basement, he said that a library had been set up there for the students to study. More than 30 students came to study in this library.
According to the information, there are many houses in this area that have built basements. But a high wall or barrier is being built in front of it due to which water does not enter. People say that the coaching building has never been flooded before. But, how did this accident happen? It is beyond comprehension.
The chairs were floating in the water
An eyewitness said that suddenly the basement was filled with water. The girls were screaming for help. Some of the students were standing on the furniture kept in the basement. An official said the bents kept for the students were floating in the water. There was glass in the basement. These also collapsed due to the flow of water, from which water was entering the basement.
A lot of anger is being seen among the students regarding this accident. Students protested against the MCD over the accident. A student said that 80 percent of the library is in the basement. This place gets filled with water within 10 minutes of rain. MCD has not paid any attention to this problem.
Removed water from petrol pump
DCP Central M Harshvardhan said that three dead bodies have been recovered from the basement of the coaching centre. Water is continuously being drained from the motor pump. being pumped. The final round of search operation is pending. Some of the trapped students have been rescued and three of them have been sent to hospital. 13 to 14 other people have been rescued from the basement.
