Indian Railways has built the 8th wonder of the world in collaboration with Konkan Railway in Jammu and Kashmir. The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) connecting Jammu to Srinagar in Kashmir is almost complete. Today, a train has been run on this cable arch bridge for the first time. This bridge is called a marvel of engineering. Its height is 35 meters more than the height of the Eiffel Tower (324 meters) in Paris. That is, this bridge built on the Chenab River in Kashmir with a height of 359 meters (1,178 feet) is said to be the highest bridge in the world. A test engine was recently run on this bridge. The work of Chenab Railway Bridge on Chenab River has been done by Konkan Railway. Due to this project, Jammu can be reached by train. Baramulla to Banihal railway line was started earlier. This arch bridge is built on the railway line between Sangaldan and Reasi. A train has run on this bridge for the first time. Rs 1486 crore has been spent in building this bridge. This bridge is built at a height of about 359 meters from the river bed. This bridge is a wonderful invention of engineering. 30,000 metric tons of steel has been used for this.

Chenab Railway Bridge Even with winds of 266 km per hour, it is so strong that it does not pose any danger. 17 span girders have been used for this bridge. The arch span of this bridge is up to 467 meters. While constructing the foundation of this bridge, the maximum size of the viaduct part of the foundation is 18 by 15 by 4.2 meters. The arch part is 50 by 35 by 42 meters (half the size of a football field). The span of this cable crane is the longest cable span in the world which is 915 meters. Such a bridge is now completely ready. The first test of the electric train has been done on this bridge today.
