Was not using mobile phone, accused who absconded after murder arrested

The accused who fled after committing murder in a land dispute in Ambegaon Budruk, Pune, was arrested from Bhor taluka. After the incident, Bharti University Police arrested the accused Santosh alias Pappu Pabekar on the basis of CCTV cameras and confidential information. The special thing is that the accused who fled after the murder was not using any mobile phone. This makes it difficult to trace him.

The murder took place on May 5 at 11 am in Ambegaon Budruk. Vilas Jaywant Bandel (age 55) was brutally murdered near Duttanagar bus stop on the road from Katraj to Navale Bridge. Bharti University Police took immediate action in this case and arrested the accused. The murder was due to land dispute. After this, the police started investigation and traced the accused Santosh alias Pappu Pabekar (age 45) on the basis of CCTV cameras and confidential information.
