Indian Railways is the fourth largest railway network in the world. Every day millions of passengers use trains to travel from one place to another. Trains are the most preferred mode of transport in India due to low fares and availability of trains in almost every major city of the country. However, the biggest difficulty in this journey is getting a confirmed seat in long distance trains. The tickets of many passengers who book railway tickets remain in the waiting category. In such a situation, many passengers have to travel in general class coaches. However, now passengers should get rid of this problem. The government is working seriously to ensure that every passenger gets a confirmed seat. According to this, the government has set a target of providing a confirmed seat to every passenger by 2032.

The government is working at many levels to eliminate the problem of waiting list in trains. The aim of the Railway Ministry is to reduce the gap between demand and supply of reservation seats. Under this scheme, railway services are being strengthened by amending the railway structure to increase capacity and efficiency. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the government aims to completely eliminate the waiting list by the end of this decade.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that Rs 1 lakh crore will be spent on purchasing new trains to meet the demand of passengers in the coming years. Similarly, old rolling stock will be replaced, which will add 7 to 8 thousand new trains to the railway fleet. Railways will also use artificial intelligence to overcome the problem of waiting tickets.

Indian Railways is trying to make proper use of the seats available in trains so that maximum number of passengers can be given confirmed tickets. Railways will use AI technology to allocate berths to RAC and waiting ticket passengers in running trains. Therefore, TC will not be able to act arbitrarily. Railway Information System Center is the in-house software branch of Railways and is developing an artificial intelligence module. It has been successfully tested last year. How train tickets are booked with this AI module. Get instant information about which destination has the highest booking. The Railway Minister said that with the help of AI data, Railways will be able to issue about 6 percent more confirmed tickets.
