How is the Veda of Sharvari Vagh and John Abraham?
Veda Movie Review: India is considered a country of brotherhood and harmony. The beauty of this country is that people from different classes and castes live here together. This has been said in praise of India. But every citizen of the country knows how true this is. Today in the age of modernity man is progressing. Progress is being made. Updating. But can it be said today that casteism has been eradicated from the country? Only then will this progress be considered worthwhile. But if even today films like Veda are being made based on true events, it shows that casteism is still a bitter reality of the society. The country is celebrating its 78th independence anniversary. In such a situation, if the question is honestly asked, has casteism been completely eradicated from the country in all these years? So the answer will be no.
Even today we keep hearing some news around us in which someone has been exploited on the basis of caste and religion. or has been murdered. Even today caste and class are deeply ingrained in the psyche of the people and the country is still not free from them. John Abraham’s film has been released as per Veda tradition. Although other films have come along with this film, John’s film on Independence Day conveys an accurate message through the story of Vedas.
story
The story is about a girl named Veda who comes from a backward class. Want to learn boxing. But the beginning of his journey was not so easy. A girl belongs to backward caste. He doesn’t get along with anyone. The problems faced on top of that are different. It is not uncommon for Vedas to clash with the village head Jitendra Pratap Singh. Jeetendra is a true politician and hates the previous caste. They are of political background and have influence in nearby villages as well. This is where the flow of the story comes in and this conflict goes to the end. It is here that the role of John Abraham who plays the character of Abhimanyu is decided. In this fight with Jeetendra, he becomes the protector of Veda. Abhimanyu is a soldier of the Gorkha regiment who has been expelled from the army. He gives training in the village and helps Ved in the film.

The story of the film is important and many more intensive films have been made on it. Nana Patekar’s film Deeksha on casteism comes to mind. The one-minute scene at the end is still considered historic. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 also opens people’s eyes. Some scenes of this film also remain in your mind. But if we talk about the overall film, the first half of the film is more attractive but after the climax the film is seen losing its rhythm. Its climax could have been better. Now it’s John’s film so there will be action for sure. If there is a story, there is also an emotion. But every film has a flow. His flow of scripting was interrupted. Due to which the film starts to change in between
Acting
Acting is everything in this film. Take Sharwari Wagh, John Abraham or Abhishek Banerjee. Everyone has done an amazing job. Sharvari should get better dialogues in the role of Veda. So his acting would have improved. But she is steadily improving and has breathed life into this character as well. Abhimanyu’s role was dominated by John Abraham. There is probably not a single scene in the entire film when John has a smile on his face. He has played a serious character with complete sincerity. Abhishek Banerjee’s character, who proved his mettle in negative roles, was intense. He plays such characters and leaves an impact with his performance. He has done the same in this film as well. Ashish Vidyarthi is also shooting in a cameo role.
Where did the mistake happen?
Veda is the right film released at the right time. Such films are necessary for society. It has always been good. A special issue has also been raised in this film. Its first part is very attractive. But the second part of the film could not be done like that. The script of the good story didn’t feel that good which made the film seem to wander a bit in the middle but it could have been covered with a good climax. But this too was not seen. An essential element is missing in the film’s climax. Here, the suspense required and the way the edge is crafted felt a little loose. This may frustrate you in the end. But overall this is a movie worth watching.
