The family kept scrambling for the post-mortem

Only one body in Etawah had to wait for hours for post-mortem. It was only when the authorities intervened in the matter that the postmortem of the dead body could be done. Meanwhile, anxious family members kept the body outside the mortuary and waited for hours. In the excitement of the ribbon-cutting of the post-mortem house at Saifai Medical University, the body was refused post-mortem and sent to Etawah. Even in Etawa, the post mortem house team refused to do the post mortem.

A case has come to light in Etawah in which gross negligence of doctors has been seen. In fact, last night three devotees on bikes were going to Pilua Mahaveer temple in Mahanepur village of Bharathana. Suddenly a stray cow came in front of the bike due to which it fell off the bike. All three were seriously injured in the accident. All three were admitted to Saifai Medical College for treatment. In which 50-year-old farmer Tilak Singh, son of Taipur resident Manohar Lal, died during treatment.

A post-mortem was not done

Vice Chancellor Dr. Prabhat Kumar inaugurated the state-of-the-art postmortem house at Saifai Medical College. Due to which the body of the deceased was sent to Etawah for postmortem. The post-mortem staff at the Etawah district headquarters refused to do the post-mortem on the dead bodies coming from the Saifai area. He said that now the post mortem center has started in Saifai, so the postmortem of the body will be done in Saifai itself. After which the family members of Bhakta Tilak Singh stood in the post mortem house for hours with the dead body.

After the CMO’s intervention, the post-mortem took place

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Geeta Ram was contacted after the intervention of media personnel. After listening to the family members of deceased devotee Tilak Singh, Dr. Geeta Ram instructed to conduct the post-mortem at the Etawah headquarters itself. Postmortem was done after this.

Giving information, CMO Geeta Ram said that the staff at the Etawah headquarters refused to do the post-mortem as they had already been informed that the post-mortem center would be opened from September 17 at Saifei Medical University, which would lead to the opening of the post-mortem center from now. There and at Chaubia, Basarehar, Vaidpura and Jaswantnagar police stations, the mortem will be conducted only in Saifai.
