After several days of protests by teachers over the digital presence in Uttar Pradesh, now the UP government had to bow down to the teachers. In an order issued by the Education Department, teachers are now given the freedom to mark digital attendance at any time.
Earlier, the instruction was to mark attendance by 8:30 am and after school closing by 2:30 pm. But 6 lakh 35 thousand teachers of UP were not ready to accept this order of the government. All government schools were given two tablets to mark attendance but none of the teachers were marking digital attendance.
