South Africa has made a winning start in the Super 8. They have won by 18 runs in a tough match against South Africa. South Africa had challenged 195 runs for victory. USA chased these runs brilliantly and the match reached a colourful situation. But at the last moment, South African bowlers made a comeback and managed to stop USA. USA could score only 176 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

Earlier, USA won the toss and invited South Africa to bat. South Africa scored 194 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Opener wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock scored the highest 74 runs for South Africa. Captain Aiden Markram added 46 runs in 32 balls. Reeza Hendricks scored 11 runs. David Miller left as soon as he came. Heinrich Klaasen and Tristan Stubbs both scored in the last minute to take the team’s score to 190. Klaasen scored an unbeaten 36 runs in 22 balls. Stubbs scored an unbeaten 20 runs in 16 balls. Saurabh Netravalkar and Harmeet Singh both took 2-2 wickets for the USA team.
