Very useful news for candidates looking for government jobs after doing engineering. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of Engineering Service Exam 2025 (UPSC ESE 2025). As soon as the notification is out, the application process has also started. Candidates can apply till October 8 by visiting UPSC official website upsconline.nic.in.
The application process has started from September 18. Candidates can apply on or before the prescribed last date as per the official notification issued. Applications are invited for a total of 232 posts. Let’s know what is the age of the candidate to appear in this exam and how the selection will be done.
UPSC ESE 2025 Eligibility: What should be the qualification?
Applying candidates should have degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering from any recognized University. Applicant’s age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is also given to reserved category candidates. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2025 onwards.
UPSC ESE 2025 Application Fee: Application Fee
General and OBC category applicants have to deposit an application fee of Rs 200. While women, SC, ST and disabled categories are exempted from payment of application fee.

UPSC ESE 2025 Selection Process: What is the Selection Process?
Applicants will be selected in three stages. Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview. Candidates who are successful in the preliminary exam will appear in the main exam and candidates who are successful in the main exam will be called for interview by the commission.
